For the first time the club is offering reserve repack day for our spring social. All of us should have our reserves repacked each year, rather than sending it off for someone else to do for you, why not learn more about the system that could save your life!
During the repack event you bring your full harness and reserve and give it a go throwing in our local village hall. Then you work with our club members and certified re-packers, Chris and Kieron, to check and repack the reserve. Plus the costs are covered by the club.
We have a number of possible dates with a limit of ~10 reserves repacks per day. Please vote for anything days you would be able to attend so we can plan the best days to book the hall.

What to Bring
- Slippers or thick over socks as no shoes in the hall to stop grit and dirt damaging your reserves
- Food and snacks for the day as there are not many options locally for food
- Your harness, reserve and reserve container
- Importantly your PRINTED RESERVE AND HARNESS MANUALS as these are essential to repack and fit your reserve in your harness container.
Repack Process
You will be repacking your reserve yourself under guidance and supervision of Kieron. You will repack in pairs helping each other out, so find your partner in the list shared via email and Telegram and pair up when your turn comes.
Second reserves are at the end and may need to be skipped if we run out of time.
Beamer steerable reserves are at the very end as they are more time consuming and require more space.
Other Activities
You will have some time during the day while others are repacking, please stay close by so that you and your pair are ready when your turn comes. Members have a few different types of reserves so you’re welcome to watch others repack their reserves.
The hall has a large green which could be appropriate for ground handling depending on conditions on the day.
Once your reserve is packed you are welcome to head home.
See you on Saturday!
